Our Story

VentureStack was founded by two passionate real estate investors who wanted a better way to find great deals. Mike Kehoe and Tim McGarvey met while living in Chicago while growing their own real estate portfolios. Two lifelong builders, they shared an obsession with making things better. They also had a knack for finding great value in their investments. These principles inspired them to build a company based on a simple statement they kept hearing from fellow investors: 

 "There are no deals available in today's market". 

VentureStack provides real estate investors with better deals.

In today’s market, great value can be hard to find. The MLS has been scoured over and novice wholesalers send out properties with no margin left for the investor. We understand that buying great deals is the easiest path toward financial freedom.

Each week, we provide access to off-market properties that have been meticulously underwritten with the investor’s bottom line in mind.

Unlike traditional wholesaling companies, VentureStack provides a clear and transparent process for investors to buy heavily discounted properties. Our team has completed hundreds of off-market transactions and will guide you each step of the way.

 

Who We Are

Mike Kehoe

Mike is a entrepreneur who has successfully created and exited multiple technology companies. He guides the company vision with experience building brands and investor financing. Mike leads our business strategy and pushes the boundaries of "conventional" thinking in the real estate space.

Mike focuses on growth, marketing, relationships, and company culture.

Tim McGarvey

Tim comes from a Project Management background, spending years consulting for large commercial construction projects in Silicon Valley. He's managed development and renovation projects for companies like Apple, Intuit, AirBNB, Hines, Juul Labs, and Skywalker Ranch. 

Tim leads our Operations and is responsible for executing VentureStack's vision. He focuses on processes, efficiency, budgets, schedules, and KPIs. 

Jason Macht

Jason is our Chief Growth Officer whose extensive background as a fintech product manager brings a unique blend of tech expertise and strategic vision to our team. With a talent for data analytics and a role in building our tech stack, Jason ensures the seamless operation of our systems. Jason is also a real estate investor with ownership and management of 20 units. His analytical prowess and entrepreneurial spirit make him a driving force in our mission to redefine the intersection of technology and real estate.

Josh Barry

Josh has been a successful Real Estate Broker in North Carolina for the last 8 years. He's a natural people-person who builds quality relationships with everyone he works with. He has a deep understanding of current market dynamics and where to find value. Josh's primary role is to connect our Investors with exceptional deals that meet their buying criteria.

Tiana Thompson

Tiana leads our property Dispositions and has been a real estate broker in the Fayetteville market for several years. Her background in land sales/acquisitions helps buyers understand a properties full potential. She excels analyzing land use, working with local AHJs, and extracting maximum future value from a property. Tiana is a master of connecting the right property to the right buyer.

Wes Smith

Wes is a sales industry veteran, spending over a decade negotiating purchases and lease options with landowners in the gas, oil, and minerals industries. Wes works on acquiring off-market properties in all of our North Carolina territories. He builds strong relationships with sellers, has a deep understanding of underlying motivations, and is a skillful negotiator.

Mat Swingle

Mat stands out as a crucial asset to our team, leveraging his active listening skills to adeptly address the diverse array of real estate challenges faced by our sellers. Known for his reliability and resourcefulness, Mat consistently crafts optimal offers that not only meet but exceed expectations. His proactive and disciplined approach infuses our team with a strategic mindset, ensuring not only the resolution of immediate concerns but also the anticipation of potential obstacles.

Nathan Johnson

Nathan, a seasoned professional in the real estate and sales industry, boasts a wealth of experience in land acquisitions. His exceptional talent lies in swiftly establishing rapport with our sellers, enabling him to assist them effectively in any helping them with their real estate problems.

Kai Daniels

Kai is an indispensable member of our team, utilizing his exceptional active listening abilities to skillfully tackle the wide range of real estate hurdles encountered by our sellers. Recognized for his unwavering reliability and innovative problem-solving, Kai consistently formulates top-tier offers that not only meet but surpass expectations.

Enier Cruz

Enier manages our in-market Inspections process. He has a Civil Engineering degree and experience in many roles within the Construction and Real Estate industry, including working as an Engineer on large professional stadium projects. His technical background and detail-oriented approach provides us with consistency and accuracy in our Due Diligence process.
